Independence Day Weekend Celebration

Join us for a spectacular 4th of July weekend celebration at the Nevada State Railroad Museum! You won’t want to miss an exciting lineup of events and activities from July 4th to July 7th.

Museum Hours:

• Open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Train Rides:

• Available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Thursday, July 4th and Saturday, July 6th: Ride the historic McKeen car and Steam Train 25.
• Friday, July 5th and Sunday, July 7th: Enjoy alternating Steam Train 25 and Glenbrook rides.
  • Please note that equipment availability for rides can be subject to change without notice.

Admission:

• $10 for adults
• Free for children under 18

Wristbands for Unlimited Train Rides:

• $20 for ages 18 and over
• $15 for museum members and youth ages 6-17
• $7 for ages 5 and under
• Wristbands include museum admission and unlimited train rides, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Individual Train Ride Pricing:

• Dependent on the operating train

• July 4th:
  • Metal Chicken Kitchen food truck
  • Pop Crunch and Munch kettle corn and snow cones
• July 5th:
  • Candy Burger food truck (until 6 p.m.)

  • Warren Engine Company #1 fundraising with hotdogs and hamburgers.
• July 7th: 
  • “Bumps in the Road” Band will entertain us all with railroad-themed music from 11-2.
