Harvest Train Arrives October 15-16!
The Nevada State Railroad Museum and the Friends of the Nevada State Railroad Museum are pleased to announce a fun Fall event…the Harvest Train. Join us October 15 and 16 for train rides on the historic Carson & Tahoe Lumber & Fluming Co. Glenbrook and Virginia & Truckee Railroad No. 25, a pumpkin patch, carnival games, food trucks, antique gas engines, family fun activities, pet adoptions and more! We are encouraging costumes – bring out your Halloween best early!
Daily activities run from 10 am to 4 pm; the last train rides will depart the Depot at 2:40 pm.
Tickets are available at the museum the day of the event and are not sold in advance. Each day the museum will be offering wristbands available for purchase. This includes museum admission and unlimited train rides.
Prices are as follows:
$15 Adults
$10 ages 12-17 and Museum members
$5 ages 4-11.
Free ages 3 and under.
Standard museum admission and train ride fares will be available, too.
